St. Andrew’s Casavant Organ
St. Andrew's Casavant Organ
This twenty-three rank instrument is the 3502nd pipe organ created by Casavant Fréres Limitée of St. Hyacinthe, Québec. It was dedicated “To the Greater Glory of God and in loving memory of Emma Alvina Kelting” during worship services on October 11, 1981 and in a recital presented by Delores Bruch, then professor of organ at the University of Iowa. The electric action organ consists of two 56-note keyboards, a 32-note pedalboard and 1,121 pipes. The console is detached and movable, allowing for flexible performance options.
