Sewing for Others (SFO)
Sewing for Others (SFO) is made up of a group of people who get together at 9 am the first Friday of every month in Fellowship Hall to do sewing-related projects for missions around the world. We sort donated material, cut dresses, shorts or quilt squares, assemble quilt kits, make wheelchair bags and walker bags, and package sewing projects the group’s members have completed at home. Since SFO started in the fall of 2003, we have sent completed sewing projects to seven different countries around the world. You are invited to join us on the first Friday of each month (except July or August) 9-11:30 am in Fellowship Hall.
You don’t have to be a sewer to join in the fun. Contact Betty Oglesby bjogle5@msn.com if you are interested or have questions.
