Our Joy:

Live a Life of Generosity

At St. Andrew, we believe life is a long-term mission trip, and every day is a short-term mission opportunity. God's word makes it clear that it's our job to share the love of Christ with people we see every day, whether we're in our local community or halfway across the world. And this mission not only impacts those we serve, but it is a pathway to

spiritual transformation in our own lives.

There are so many ways to serve locally through St. Andrew, as well as getting involved in global efforts to spread the Gospel of Christ. Whether you feel called to Iowa City, Guatemala, or elsewhere, we want to empower you to do the work God has called you to. The drop down menu above provides information about the number of ways to serve. Get involved today!

Serving Locally

As a community we value and encourage everyone to discover the joy and the reward of helping others through service. We’d love to invite you to join us as we seek to extend a loving hand to everyone in and around our neighborhood. If you'd like to get involved with providing free lunches, working on a Habitat for Humanity build, or helping in some other way in our community, click here.

Serving around the World

St. Andrew provides cross-cultural missions opportunities. For example, we have partnered with Impacto Ministries in Guatemala where we worked with a local health clinic and a program called "Happy Tummies" for children in need.

St. Andrew wants to train and send people on short-term trips to assist our established missionaries and provide a way for individuals to determine God’s leading for their lives in the realm of long-term ministry in a cross-cultural setting.
